One of the most anticipated single of the year is finally here. Dj Black Coffee enlists Shekhinah Donnell on his latest effort dubbed “Your Eyes”
Prior to the official release, Black Coffee gave fans a little bit of what to expect with a snippet of the new track on his Instagram page and fans have ever since been on a lookout.
The BET Award winner for the Best International Act on Friday morning took to Instgaram to ask fans to get a copy of the song.
Black Coffee has been promoting the song for few months on various media platforms. ‘Your Eyes’ is said to be one of the tracks Black Coffee plans to include on his soon to be released EP set to be released in October.
On the song, Black Coffee together with Shekhinah offers a completely diverse sound on the anticipated house and pleasing tune. The track presents a soft touch, relaxing rhythm and the vocal balances so well with Shekhinah filling-in the verses.
This now confirms his statements during a discussion on Metro FM (with Mo Flava and Lerato Kganyago) earlier this month, the well-known disc jockey did make known that he will be trying new sounds, even if it’s a ballad type of song he will release such material.
Shekhinah is well known for her vocal prowess with huge releases like “Back To The Beach” and “Let You Know” which equally earned her a huge fan base in the entertainment scene. Shekhinah made her major appearance at the season eight of South Africa’s reality interactive talent show – Idols SA. After her departure from Idols, Donnell retained a low-profile in the media until after high school.
Donnell is now in massive demand and frequently honors big events.
