In a short video posted on YouTube, Chris Brown has told Kenyans to turn up in numbers for the ‘turn up.’
“Yoyo 001, Mombasa Kenya, can’t wait to come out there. Kenya we are turning it up. October 8th make sure you’re there, make sure you’re ready and we are gonna party, thank you,” says the Grammy Award winning artist.
The outdoor music festival is dubbed, Mombasa Rocks Music Festival, and is being set up by Mombasa Rocks.
Regular tickets will be going for Sh10,000, VIP will go for Sh20,000 and VVIP will be a whopping Sh50,000, prices some Kenyans have baulked at.
Chris Brown is currently on his #OneHellofaNight European Tour 2016 alongside our very own Wizkid. Last night, Wiz and Breezy performed their unreleased collaboration on the Sarz-produced track “African Bad Girl” (recorded in 2014) at the Ziggo Dome, Amsterdam.
