When you count Nigeria’s top musical treasures of all time, then Johnny Drille should be somewhere at the top of your list! I know I have said this over and over again but this dude kinda deserve some major international recognition and I’m not even joking!
Whatttt?? Just after dropping his latest singles – “Shine” and “Forever“, the excruciatingly talented musician (you know, musician as per he can do almost all things music!) decides that before the real visuals, he should bless our eyes and ears with something superb as he delivered a top-drawer live performance of “Forever” at a top terrace somewhere around Lagos, Nigeria and this guy, this guy absolutely murdered it!
We actually do not deserve Johnny Drille! We don’t!

After previously dropping “Jesu N’abba”, “Kabiyebi” and “Ayo” to critical acclaim, Benita ups the ante with “Owase” and showed why she’s still very much revered by music lovers on the local and international scene.

Cill is a Singer, writer and guitarist, gifted with a voice that strikes a cord in your soul and lyrics laced with deep meaning, my music brings a blend of rock, soul, country and splashes of ‘Africanness’.
I like to tell stories of life, of love (lost or found) of nature, of places you have never been, of places only the mind has been, and of places everyone should go to.
‘Baby Girl‘ is very close to my heart and I hope everyone feels in some way what I felt making this song with Mavin Record’s artiste, Johnny Drille. Sometime in my life I felt lost and needed to find my own place and knew my choices could take me farther from home and i lose sense of direction. I put myself in my mother’s place and imagined what she felt about me leaving and how heart broken she could have been.
The Mavins are up to something. They’ve been on a roll with the releases for the past few days dropping contents back to back.
