The new music video from house music duo Black Motion is a monochromatic short film set in the 1930s.
The video which premiered on YouTube on Thursday, 24 January 2019 is for the duo’s latest song Joy Joy, which features former Idols South Africa contestant Brenden Praise. The group, which is made up of Bongani Mohosana and Thabo Mabogwane, released the single in September 2018.
Mohosana and Mabongwane arrive in a car from the 1930s and step out to enter a café where patrons are sitting and waiting for a performance from Brenden. The song plays with a slow tempo before Brenden takes the stage and the beat goes faster when he starts singing.
Brenden notices a woman in a red outfit in the crowd and is immediately taken with her. The song forms part of the duo’s fifth album Moya Wa Taola released on Friday, 5 October 2018.
