UK based Afrobeats trio, Vibe Squad are back with some fire to heat up the game. Their latest single ‘On Da Lo’ featuring IRAY MVMT’s, GB (GhettoBoy), and produced by the beat killer Stino is setting the tone for the season.

The new tune talks about keeping relationships out of the public eye to maintain its sanctity. Simple message, yet crafted with so much flair it becomes nothing short of an eargasm.

The tune starts off with a soft melody and gently transitions to a party vibe as more instruments are added. The guitar licks which is now becoming the group’s trademark is simply breath taking. Vibe Squad completely nails this song yet we need to give GB credit for his complimentary verse.

After featuring Ghana’s superstar Bisa Kdei on a successful single earlier this year, Vibe Squad have outdone themselves with this new super banger. They call this one “Waiting” and it couldn’t have come at a better time. With fast paced songs becoming a rarity these days, “Waiting” has come to fill the void.

“Waiting” which features fast rising afrobeats artist Stino, is the perfect follow up to ‘Fabom’; a song currently receiving wide airplay on Ghanaian radio and tv station. It contains sweet melodic african guitars accompanied by bouncy kicks and snares that will get any partygoer on their feet. With engagement and wedding season fast approaching, afrobeats DJs have found the remedy to making their crowd break a sweat in this song.

Vibe Squad’s ‘Fabom’ Tops Capital Xtra Radio Chart

UK based Ghanaian Afrobeats trio, Vibe Squad have topped the Afrobeats chart on Capital XTRA radio with their 2017 single, ‘Fabom’, featuring Bisa Kdei.

The tune which was released earlier this year has been on rotation on Capital XTRA radio for a while now and finally topped the chart. The list had songs by R2Bees, E.L, Joey B amongst others. .Fabom’ topping the chart shows how good the song is.

Vibe Squad have been on the promo of the audio and visuals of the said single for a while now and it has been trending on social media. The trio recently signed a lucrative deal with JBA Records.

“We are in for the ladies not the money” – Vibe Squad

It seems Afrobeat music group, Vibe Squad is not seeing the business side of their talent, rather, the pleasure that comes with it.

According to Wizzy, a member of the group, there are various ways and means to make money from music but for now, they are in to entertain the ladies.

My team and I have a lot of things for the world but for now our attention is on the ladies. We want to entertain them, make them feel special, give them the best of us as far as music is concerned and above all, give them songs that relate to their daily lives. Wizzy stated.

Adding to it, DeeVS said the group is not focused on making money from music at the moment because they believe with their talent, they will achieve more than any amount they can dream of.

We have the dream of Adele, Jay Z, Puff Daddy and the rest, where we will be making millions of dollars from every single we drop to the world. But currently, our target is to win the ladies over and so far so good. We have some curvaceous ladies loving our new sound.

Kelvin added that Vibe Squad’s fanbase is predominantly female and as such it is only wise they make music which caters to them.

Vibe Squad dropped their latest collaboration with Bisa Kdei a few days ago and the song is doing well on radio, TV and online platforms.

They are currently in Ghana promoting their new track called “Fabom” which means ‘”join together” in the Akan language.

But wait, who thinks of women over money?

UK based Afrobeats Trio Vibe Squad kicks off 2017 with the fun-filled ‘Fabom’ single

The energetic and vibrant trio combine their Afrobeats flavour with Bisa KDei’s renowned Ghanaian High Life sound

The two camps have joined forces to bring us the Stino produced ‘Fabom’, which means “Join” in Twi dialect, their native language. Group member, Wizzy adds his Francophone flare to this track to give an international appeal to the song

Bisa KDei is currently Ghana’s High Life artiste of the year and this collaboration with Vibe Squad proves to the world that no matter where you reside, Ghanaians will always connect to create something magical as far as music is concerned.

Vibe Squad has a lot for the world and ‘Fabom’ with Bisa KDei is just a snippet of the whole fun-packed energy from their camp.
