Africa’s starboy Ayodeji Balogun aka Wizkid has earned his first nomination on the prestigious Grammy Awards . The African pop king received his first ever Grammy awards nomination for featuring on Drake’s rap album, Views.
However, the widely anticipated several nominations for the popular ‘One Dance’song by Drake Featuring Kyla and Wizkid did not materialize.
Drake’s multi-platinum album is nominated for Album of the Year.
The category also include Adele‘s 25, Justin Bieber‘s Purpose, Sturgill Simpson A Sailor’s Guide To Earth, and Beyonce‘s Lemonade.
