Octopizzo is just that gift that keeps on giving!
After his nemesis, Khaligraph Jones, trashed his last release ‘Butere’ for being a ‘terere type of music’, Octo has switched it up to his equally impressive international standards with ‘Utanisho.’
In ‘Utanisho’, Octopizzo easily reclaims his title as the King of the Kenyan hip hop scene(arguably). His flow is tight and easy going at the same time, his wordplay and lyricism is once again clever and impressive, and the hit’s production is nothing close to what other rappers are doing, setting Octopizzo above the rest.
If disses are anything to go by, ‘Utanisho’ is exactly it. Octopizzo makes it look effortless and sounds like an artist who is having fun with his music, and exhibiting a charming and intimidating arrogance while at it.
When we talk of quality music, ‘Utanisho’ is up there.
